Expert database
The internal research database is available to all faculty members for searching for expertise and equipment. It is intended to promote research cooperation and make infrastructure and equipment more efficient to use. The aim is to inspire research and accelerate translation.
By bundling information on people and working groups, contact information, scientific expertise, experts, methods, large-scale equipment and services, the aim is to facilitate scientific exchange at working level. The search is very simple: keywords can be freely addressed in the search field and the full-text search covers all levels.
The expert database is currently under construction and will be filled in by the researchers themselves.

How to use the database
Main Menu
- Home: Overview of all approved Expert-Cards
- Own Expert-Cards: Overview of your own created Expert-Cards
- Administration: Overview of submitted Expert-Cards

Own Expert-Cards
Here you enter your research profile:
- Overview of your own created Expert-Cards
- Create Expert-Card: Create a new Expert-Card
- Detail view by clicking on the Expert-Card
Own Expert-Cards/Detailansicht
- After creating a new Expert-Card, it can be edited (Edit), deleted (Delete), or submitted (Submit)
- After submission (Submit) of the Expert-Card, the submission can be withdrawn (Withdraw Submission) or edited by the administrator
- After approval by the administrator, the Expert-Card can be edited (Edit) or deleted (Delete)
Administration
- Overview of submitted Expert-Cards
- Submitted cards can be approved (Approve) or rejected (Reject)
Further information
Annual Update
- Once a year, a reminder to update the entry is sent automatically by email
- If an Expert-Card has not been updated/changed within one year, the creator receives a request by email
Special Entries
New keywords from entries in the fields Research, ResearchServices, SpecialMethodology, SpecialEquipment, Keywords, Collaborations and Funding are directly saved as suggestions for future entries.
