Gender Data Report 2024

With the aim of creating more transparency and developing further targeted measures for gender equality, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Cologne (UoC) is presenting its first Gender Data Report in 2024 with data from 2018-2022.

The Gender Data Report provides comprehensive insights into gender-specific aspects of academic careers from studies to professorship as well as research funding. In addition, the report sends an important signal for the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity at our faculty by showing where progress has been made and where there is still a need for action. Promoting equal opportunities is not only an imperative of fairness, but also a decisive factor for the excellence and sustainability of our science.
