The newly founded GAMMA Sustainability Initiative was initiated by the academic mid-level staff of the University Hospital Cologne (GAMMA) and the Medical Faculty of the University of Cologne.

Together with you and other university and student initiatives, we want to make our contribution to the implementation of an ecological transformation for the benefit of our society, our patients, ourselves and future generations. We want to strengthen the competence for sustainable action among all employees, make our work more sustainable and anchor the topic of sustainability in all areas.

The Sustainability Working Group of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Cologne, together with other stakeholders and sustainability initiatives, is organizing a two-day open-air event on the biomedical campus entitled "Days of Sustainability 2025". The event will take place on July 2 and 3, 2025 and is aimed at all employees of the University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine, scientists from the affiliated research institutes and students.
