Special funds for research & teaching

The Dean's Office Special Funds team is responsible for supporting, managing and advising academic projects to improve the quality of university teaching and research. These projects are funded by various sponsors.

DEK special funds area of responsibility

  • Project and funding monitoring
  • Requesting funds from the various sponsors
  • Advising project managers on financial issues
  • Project management and administration, participation in the control of financial resources
  • Preparation of cost and usage reports
  • Reviewing procurements from a legal and financial perspective
  • Financial audit with approvals when hiring project personnel
  • Controlling the flow of funds specified in the financing plans
