The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Cologne and the University Hospital Cologne are committed to reliable employment conditions and clear career paths in the scientific field. The aim is to create transparency in the appointment, promotion and further training of mid-level academic staff through a joint permanent position concept. Legal and financial framework conditions are taken into account. The concept is based on the contract for good employment conditions at universities and the guidelines of the University of Cologne and includes both medical and non-medical staff.
