Med evaluations

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Cologne evaluates courses in the form of a student survey in accordance with the NRW Higher Education Act. Unit 5 for Digital Teaching Management from the Vice Dean's Office for Studies and Teaching was entrusted with this task.
Since the 2016/2017 winter semester, the teaching evaluation at the Faculty of Medicine has been carried out at course level using Klips' own evaluation tool. This records how the courses are perceived by students. At the same time, the aim is to provide teaching staff with differentiated feedback on the didactic aspects of their course.
Since the APL regulations from 06.04.2022 the need for personal evaluations has also increased. For this purpose, the EvaSys evaluation software has been designated as the new basis for all personal evaluations. Personalized questionnaires can thus be used for each individual course, which are filled out by the students in the respective lesson.
