Guidelines for the use of AI
The use of AI in teaching and studies is governed by the AI guidelines of the UoC; at the Faculty of Medicine, they are supplemented by the faculty-specific regulations of the Faculty of Medicine. You can view the AI guidelines of the Faculty of Medicine here. Please pay particular attention to the notes on citing sources when using AI in theses.
In ILIAS you also have the opportunity to complete a crash course on the use of AI. Please register in the EduLabs system.
AI in teaching working group
In addition, a working group "AI in teaching" has been forming at the Faculty of Medicine since spring 2026 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. A. Liebermann, whose aim is to discuss the application of AI in the medical professions in order to derive conclusions for study practice.
