Our social Mission
Beyond translating research into healthcare, the Faculty of Medicine creates added value for society by offering lifelong learning opportunities. It also shares its knowledge about capacity building in the Global South.
Lifelong learning & hands-on activities
The faculty, in cooperation with the student council, the university hospital, and other partners, offers information days (including at the university hospital), public events and lecture series, activities for children and seniors, and participation in external events. The aim is to raise awareness of socially relevant topics, provide information about them, and offer interested parties a platform for the exchange of information and dialogue, which can then be fed back into science and teaching.
