Your stay in Cologne

In the first days after arriving in Cologne you should arrange the following matters:

• Your enrolment as a student at Cologne University / International Office (pick up your student ID Card)
• Opening a bank account
• Registration with a health fund (Krankenkasse)
• Registration (within one week!) at the residents registration office (Einwohnermeldeamt)
• Application for a library card
