Studying in Cologne for one or two semesters

Students from partner universities in other countries can come here for a term abroad (Semesteraufenthalt) during which they take and attend courses, seminars, practicals and written exams from the Human Medicine course curriculum provided by the Medical Faculty.

A term abroad can last for one semester (half an academic year) or two semesters (one academic year).

To be able to spend a term abroad here, the student’s home university must already have a cooperation arrangement (partnership) with the Medical Faculty at the University of Cologne.

Unfortunately, students from non-partner universities cannot spend a term abroad here.
