The SALON series of the Cologne International Forum is entering its second round – and we warmly invite you to join us again!
At our next event on May 21st, we will focus on a highly topical subject from the fields of biology and medicine - the battle between antibiotics and bacteria. Scientist Rotem Gross will explain in an engaging way how antibiotics work, how bacteria develop resistance – and what consequences this has for our health. Together, we will explore the fascinating molecular mechanisms that can save lives, but also pose major challenges when resistance arises.
Upcoming events in the SALON series will cover remarkable studies on ants, the impact of global developments on European unity, and Elif Shafak’s perspective on gender and migration. We warmly invite you to listen, understand, connect, and discuss.
