New academic staff often experience university medicine with its diverse tasks, fields of activity and structures as a completely new cosmos when they start. As part of the induction of new academic staff, the Faculty participates on the second day with its own onboarding slot. The idea is to give new academic staff a good introduction to the specifics of the faculty and to highlight structures, services and support offers to make it easier for them to start and progress at the faculty. Changing speakers from the Dean's Office provide an insight into the different areas and topics of the Faculty of Medicine.

GAMMAs - Group of Academic Staff

You will also get to know the Groupof AcademicStaff Members(GAMMA) and your opportunities for participation within the faculty. The mid-level staff representation is committed to the interests of academic staff at the Faculty of Medicine through voting participation in faculty meetings, the organization of mid-level staff representation in committees and commissions, topic-related meetings of all mid-level staff, participation in mid-level staff representation at university level (Council of Academic Staff) as well as exchange and transfer of information.
