Flow Cytometry Core
The Flow Cytometry Core (FCC) constitutes a central technology platform for cell sorting and analysis on the Research Campus of the University Hospital Cologne. The Facility supports all research groups of the Life Science Campus of the Medical and Natural Sciences Faculty of the University of Cologne independent of their group association or location. One major focus of the FCC lies on the scientific exchange as well as the support of research projects with state-of-the-art flow cytometric analyses.
The Facility is currently being set up.

Terms of use
The use of the Flow Cytometry Core is regulated by a usage policy, which you can view here.
Cost catalog
The usage fees are based on the DFG's flat rates in accordance with leaflet 55.04 “Information on equipment usage costs and equipment centers”. Further information on the FCC's usage fees can be found in the usage regulations.
Scheduling/booking
The establishment of the Agendo booking software is currently still in progress.

Devices
As the FCC is currently under development, bookings cannot be offered. Once the Flow Cytometers (Analyzers and Sorters) are ready to use, we will update detailed information accordingly.
Funding advice
In its funding procedures, the German Research Foundation (DFG) can finance usage costs for large-scale equipment and equipment centers/core facilities, provided that these correspond to project-specific additional requirements.
