Workshop 3: Sustainability in laboratory work
Sustainability in the life sciences laboratory means minimizing resource consumption and reducing the ecological footprint while ensuring efficient operation. This includes the conscious use of energy, water, materials and waste as well as the consideration of social and economic aspects. The first laboratories on the Life Science Campus Cologne have already been certified by Green lab.
Dr. Dr. Tomo Saric, Head of the Sustainability Working Group, together with Anna Schmidt, Johanna Stachelscheid and Claudia Herr will provide information on strategies for greater sustainability in the laboratory.
