UNIVERSITY OF COLOGNE

From Neumarkt by tram (line 9, direction Sülz, Hermeskeiler Platz) to Lindenburg stop. Via Joseph-Stelzmann-Straße you reach the medical faculty and the university clinic. The taxi ride from the main station costs approx. 10 EUR.

"From the north:

Take the A1 to the Köln-Nord motorway junction. Change to the A57 in the direction of Köln-Zentrum. At the end of the motorway, turn right towards Lindenthal onto Innere Kanalstraße and continue as an extension to Universitätsstraße. Turn right at Bachemer Straße and follow the sign "Uni-Kliniken".

"From the south:

Take the A4 to the Köln Klettenberg junction. There turn right onto Luxemburger Straße (B265) until you reach the turnaround towards Universitätsstraße (approx. 3 km). Turn left at Zülpicher Straße and follow the sign "Uni-Kliniken".

"From the west:

Take the A4 to the Köln-West junction. Then take the A1 south towards Euskirchen; after a few hundred metres turn right towards Frechen (B 264). At the end of the exit turn left towards Marsdorf. Follow this road (Dürener Straße) for several kilometres until you reach Lindenthal. Follow the signs to "Uni-Kliniken".

"From the east:

As from the south

Take the A3 or A4 to Kreuz Köln Ost. Then follow the signs to the city centre over the Zoobrücke bridge onto Innere Kanalstraße. Continue as from the north.

Take the S-Bahn line S 13 to Cologne Central Station (Hauptbahnhof); from there it's the same as travelling by train. The taxi ride from the airport costs approx. 25 €.
