What university medicine does

Cologne Children’s University

The Cologne Children’s University offers young researchers the opportunity to attend exciting events about knowledge, research and education and to take a look behind the scenes at Cologne's universities and scientific institutions.

The events are aimed at children and young people between the ages of 8 and 14. Lectures, seminars and practical courses take place throughout the year - on site at the participating institutions, in your schools or digitally, so that you can take part from home. Participation in the Cologne Children’s University is always free of charge.

Whether exciting lectures in a real lecture hall, experiments in the laboratory, hands-on activities or excursions on the Cologne Medical Campus, Cologne University Medicine is predestined to inspire students eager for knowledge - or rather: young, potential junior researchers - for the diverse topics in medicine: health and illness, the peculiarities of our body, current research questions and the latest findings, topics such as pregnancy and birth or artificial intelligence and robotics. Participants from Cologne schools can learn and experience exciting things here.

We list offers from Cologne University Medicine here. An overview of current offers can be found on the Cologne Children’s University website.
