The Faculty of Medicine has Central Core Facilities and participates in the large-scale equipment and technology platforms of the individual research institutions on the Life Science Campus Cologne. Equipment and associated services are made available on request to scientists and cooperation partners from the Faculty, university and external organisations. This infrastructure creates synergies with the aim of utilising resources jointly, promoting interdisciplinary cooperation and strengthening scientific performance at the Cologne site.

Our core facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and are operated by experts. This gives researchers access to state-of-the-art technologies, qualified advice on scientific issues and much more. The range of Central Core Facilities is currently under construction and is being continuously expanded. It is worth checking back regularly.
